The 3am yield

“Their souls really won’t be at peace unless they can latch on to an established and proven worry and having once found it they assume facial expressions to fit and go with it, which is, you see, unhappiness, and all the time it all flies by them and they know it and that too worries them no end.”

Black hair, no glasses

Perhaps slightly inebriated isn’t the time to be attempting complicated portraits but I reckon this one’s come out okay, if a wee bit suave.

Should really be working on my actual work projects but I’m enojying my little ‘stag’ project too much. Which is basically drawings of all of my friends, especially those I need to keep in touch with. In real life it’s all in a booklet, which I think makes it look better. Although remember not to draw on both sides of thin paper kids. It’s not worth it.

And now TO BED.

In a herd of love and trust, I am a stag of complacency.

A new project I’m starting for myself…

Doodles

Well it’s not really a doodle if it takes over 2 minutes I think, but never mind…

The next three are definitely Catcher In The Rye related. I’m trying to make a little book of observational drawings related to the text. The woman on the train didn’t enjoy being drawn, but sometimes art’s painful eh?

Oodles

Back on the posting now I’ve got everything working again (Leopard killed my computer so I had to wipe everything and reinstall in case you’re interested).

Done loads of doodles and little pics over the last little while. Some are related to our ‘sequence’ project, which I’m doing from Catcher In The Rye, hence some Holden Caulfield biznizz:
